About

We are a family of four (Desmond, Roxy, Evan and Ella) living in San Francisco.

We love to travel, explore new cultures, and getting to know new people along the way. As a family of four, we’ve been to over 30 countries together (and many more for Desmond and Roxy prior to kids!). Our original intention for this blog was to document and share all of our travel experiences over the years. Sadly, we haven’t been as disciplined as we had hoped about sharing family trips since we started this blog to share experiences from our first BuildOn school trek in Nepal!

And so, much of this blog is now focused on our experiences partnering and volunteering with BuildOn.org to help break the cycle of poverty in some of the poorest countries in the world. We believe everyone has a right to an education, especially those who need it most.
